It was 4 years ago in Poland...
Nowadays 20/20 MB/s download/upload is an average speed for low money here, and really I don't even need a faster connection.

My school over here in the states gets 58.7mb download and 42.6mb upload. Its crazy fast both ways!

i have 21.12mb/s download and 4.57mb/s upload. Thats nothing though... my friend has 62.52mb/s download and 7.99mb/s upload

not bad for Poland in 2007... now we got UPC with their 120 mbps "Fiber Power" download service, and ASTER's+TP(Neo)+other companies with their top 20mbps tiers
wish i could could get even 1mbps.. in Lebanon we pay $50/month for 0.5/0.128mbps with 4GB/month Download Limit :( and each extra GB costs $10!!
Good to see Europe, the U.S, and South East Asia are continously Progessing in the Internet Industry, but in the Middle East it's still Crap(well.. from where i am to say the least :/ )
