I read this nice article by BBC's Click Webscape-r Kate Russell on 8bitpeoples, an art and music collective, realizing their creative ambitions with the help of old school technology.
There is a whole so-called bonus disc full with 20 or so 8-bit music tracks for download on their site.
Made on altered Sinclair ZX 80's, modified Gameboys and more tres cool old-school gear, quite some songs sound next to horrid to my ears ,
a few are just s u b l i m e .
Imho: be your own judge.

Later today I enjoyed a little walk into town and inspired by the 8 bit sound I intuitively changed my videoing. Back home after the videoshopping this is what I cooked up.
