John Hagee Creatively Interprets the U.S. Great Seal

Here, Hagee--who sees heightened war in the Middle East as part of Armageddon, well under way and precisely scripted in the Bible--seeks to demonstrate the close friendship between the United States and Israel (or Jewish people in general). You might think this is old news, but prepare to have your mind blown, as he takes a dollar bill, flips it and reverses it.

Hagee seems to have gotten this interpretation from an e-mail someone forwarded to him (naturally); the detailed history of the "Great Seal" provided by the State Department seems to show the features Hagee points to as having been added years after the fact, with no apparent connection to Israel or the Jewish people.

This is the church where Mike Huckabee spent the Sunday before Christmas. Huckabee called Hagee "one of the great Christian leaders of our nation."
