So, I recently set myself the task to upgrade my 2010 iMac to an SSD. The idea was to set the SSD up as a primary drive with the operating system on it and use the stock hard drive for storage (documents, movies, files etc).

In the video, i'll go over how it went and some general tips if any one yous are thinking of doing the same. I would recommend it, my Mac has a new life now! Super speedy!!

    apparently it can go even faster if you undertake the TRIM method. I don't know what this is or how its done but a few people have done this to further increase their speeds.

    I'm really glad more people are talking about SSDs. Now that they're getting cheaper there are soooo many more people who are making the switch--and of course, wider popularity will mean more competition and lower prices (ideally!)
