US Secessions Movements

This video can be somewhat of an understatement; there are much more organizations and many variations of these organizations by different special interest groups that have entirely different goals or methodology. Don't be fooled into thinking that all of them have peaceful intentions. Many of them are like Nazi groups that align themselves with the right because the right protects people's rights. However there is little doubt that if the special interest groups gain power that the rights for others groups will diminish or disappear. Much like Hitler promoted freedoms and use the freedoms to his advantage to get into power, however once he got into power he used his power to suppress the rights of others.

Most of groups advocate the rights of their own group based on (nationalities, races and religion). Many of these groups have an alignment and are getting funding from foreign powers. I think many of them have no intention of assimilation. Much like much of the Islamic or Latino groups, they have no intention of equal rights assimilation. Many Islamic groups have stated that their intentions are Islamic world domination. Many of the Latino groups refuse to learn English or to try to adapt and fit into US culture, instead they want to keep their own language and culture but take over our land, but meanwhile they exploit our freedoms and generosity.

I suspect most of the people in these groups are peaceful well-meaning people, but I suspect there are some that are just waiting for an excuse and opportunity for valance. I think some of them have a more sinister hidden agenda.

I think illegal immigration is a security threat because it might be the start of succession or revolution.

You have missed the point of the video. The US government has already shifted toward communism and socialism because liberals appeal to people's hatred and greed and get them to vote out our democracy. That's why so many people that believe in the constitution are getting frustrated. Lord Al Gore and are setting the US up to be ruled by foreign powers (world government)

I would tend to disagree. So far there are too many leaders that keep the groups factionalized and radicalized. There is no shortage of people wanting to be leaders, however there is a vast shortage of people that are competent and moral enough to lead. Just look at Washing DC, the political campaign or any government in the world.

There is no shortage of idiots and morally bankrupt people that want to lead. Part of the problem with politics is the very few leaders that are relatively smart and moral; when the do get in power they are smeared and slandered. Like the Indians (native Americans) used to say, there are too many corrupt idiot chiefs and not enough Indians.

You seem to believe that the States, freed to choose for themselves how to govern themselves would not reform two or more "confederations", linked by a common desire to be governed as their people wish. The old saw about being conquered if we are not a continental empire is untrue. A free South would be governed with the same rights and freedoms the founding fathers intended. It would be a true Republic, not a consolidated tyranny such as we have now.

If every country becomes a independent nation, we could have warring states. States would fight wars when there are disputes. A central government could solve disputes in the courts, but independent nations will solve disputes with bullets and bombs.

the guy on the right represents the southern republic. what he said he was using to make an example. how would there not be a common defense. an invasion has already started with mexico and the govt isnt doing anything about it. the southern states taking the brunt of the abuse. sucession is the answer to fix this messed up country.

The guy on the right is simply not thinking this through, and therefore he's an idiot. If there is no federal government, and all the states are separate nations, the states would be invaded and taken over by Mexico, for one, because there would be no common defense. One nation, under God, not fifty squabbling ones.

I'd have few problems with letting Vermont secede so long as all the Socialists & America haters living here moved there and then we could let them all go. Then we place a nice "Cuba-esque" embargo on them, and write them off. B-bye!
