On October 15th 2011, the Harris County Sheriff's Office along with the Boy Scouts of America hosted Post 44 of the HCSO Police Explorer Program open house. There were several divisions at the event showing their support towards the program by showcasing different displays. Sheriff Adrian Garcia was in attendance welcoming the young and eager group of teenagers to the program. Katy I.S.D Explorers participated by giving an example of a "Felony Traffic Stop."
The program will be open to teenagers and young adults between the ages of 14 (must have completed the 8th grade) and 21 interested in a career in law enforcement. Student participants will get a first-hand look at what it takes to be a law enforcement officer and decide early on whether it is a career they want to pursue. For more information please contact Sgt. Joseph A. Blendermann at (713)697-6304

Good job to whoever created this video!
I'm a part of two different law enforcement explorer posts and we've done nothing like this but I'll suggest it. Definitely help with recruitment! What kind of other things do you guys do at your post?
