@paulhamerton1 hey Paul.. what connection did you have with Mudd? . i love their music, but Sweet is on my list of top 5 bands of all time..I think Les did a cross between Sweet & Elvis, if you say he left Chin/Chap the same time Sweet did, then it goes to show Sweet was far more talented (this song is weak). im one of the few fans of Mudd in the U.S. trivia for you (what was the title on the flipside of Little Willie 45 that says (mouse ,hidin in a house)..your pal Tommy

Les Gray was a nice man. I met him a few times personally and he was very friendly. I have a picture with him together. A guy who really loved his fans. We all miss you my dear friend.

I loved Mud from the begin I saw and heard them. When I was in disco and maybe heartbroken this music always kept me going on dancefloor!

The 1970's wouldn't have been as much fun without Les and Mud. He still gave a good performance on this, even though he was ill at the time. Him and his band were just great.
Les never got back together he never stopped performing. He actually died of a heart attack but had throat cancer.Les was the kindest man i knew and never let his fans down a real credit who loved performing.Pls no nasty comments,Les loved singing and i and many others miss him so much R.I.P Les and Dave Mount the original drummer who sadly took his own life

Embarassment? Nah. Brave fella getting out there and doing it. Bowed out gracefully...what does that mean? Sit at home with a terminal illness just waiting to die?
