@bubbawinchester No doubt. I had a Craftsman's 1/2 drive ratchet from the 70s. After 40 YEARS it broke. I just went down to Sears and they gave me another, no problem.

That's really weird. I've had two 14mm craftsman wrenches do that exact same thing... Maybe they were all in the same batch and some one screwed up? lol

If i was your coworker i wouldn't lend you tools anymore.
-
@jones1inc stick with craftsman. don't abuse your tools though.
-
well, crapsman aint what it used to be. they got china shit now.
-
@baddogjim WTF is that suppose to mean? Just because Im a huge fan of Snap On? I sleep with my Snap On Ratchets! Crapsmen are for old men!!!
-
probably should have used a 6-point box end wrench instead

@jones1inc ignore ignorance my friend
I hope you know that craftsman has a lifetime warranty. Just call them and they will drive out to your house and they will take that one and give you a new one. and When you said you buy good quality tools, what do you consider good quality ? MAC? SNAPON ?

I suspect he used that wrench on an undersized fastener and only engaging it for a few mm's trying to make it fail, so he can make a youtube video about an American made tool that he thinks is inferior to his tool truck branded tools!

@acaemar you must not know much about tools. take a bolt and drill a hole in to it then take a wrench & do the same thing to see how hard the wrench is. you have a good day.
