b&w beosound 8 is more overpriced than any bose. sounddock 10 its more powerful than the beosound 8 and it cheaper. the zeppelin is the half of the price of the beosound 8 and its better. beosound 8 sucks.
b&o its to expensive you will not geting way you pay for.
Bose systems are high quality systems that provide decent sound through the sound spectrum
(meaning these speakers pick up a pretty good amount of frequencies)
I would know. I bought a pair of Bose 141 Series II Bookshelf speakers for my technics receiver, and I couldnt be happier... I still have my 201's hooked up to them, providing deep bass. Thats a good setup, I am sure its better than that Bowers & Wilkins crap..
And oh yeah, while I own B&O's A8 earphones, which sound pretty good (I'm on my 3rd pair though, and my 3rd pair is beginning to fall apart, yet I take very good care of them), the rest of B&O's products are mostly made for looks. They're not the best sounding speakers out there for the money at all. The Beolab 8000s are some of the worst-sounding speakers I've ever heard. But, the Beolab 5s are decent. However, Wilson Audio's Sashas with a pair of JL Audio f113 Fathoms would beat them.
Bose should be near last place. Their systems have the quality of <1000 systems, and are sold through extremely good marketing. Paradigm, Wharfedale, PSB, among many, many other brands DESTROY Bose, and they cost the same and even less (I heard a $1000 Paradigm/Velodyne/Sony system that sounded 10x better than Bose's Lifestyle 48).
Watch my videos. They show what you can get for Bose's systems.
