was at my friends house when a non-primary electrical line landed behind his garage. At the time it was not arcing or burning, but there was the smell of smoke and some of the ground had been burnt.

  • wow. do you know why it came down?

  • @SPCcranford1056 Dont know th exact reason. There were no trees that were on the line. My best guess would be that the line fell due to a weakened bracket that holds up the line (a few days before this we had high winds). The wind could have weakened the bracket, which caused the line failure.

  • Volts don't matter amps are the danger

  • @tall32guy Lol. Yeah it was a low voltage line. Not quite sure if it was a 120 V or 240 V though.

  • @ghostdrew1 No not really. He said it was non-primary which probably meant it was a low voltage line. He was far away enough that no electricity would have been "received" by him or his friend. Who knows though? I am not really knowledgeable on electric.... LOL

  • he gets a new camera soon

  • buddy u was wayyy to close to that line
