  • Nice can I buy it?

  • @iExplodeHD - Already sold it actually. A guy bought it to use with his show car.

  • Have you ever did a stretch cruiser?

Also how did you do the shifter, could it be used as a speed shifter for a 3 speed?

    I'm new to this :-)

  • @ALMASINFE - I am not sure what a stretch cruiser would be but I like the sound of it! If you have any links to what you are talking about please send them to me. The "shifter" on this bike as actually for the rear brake. If I were to make it into an actual shifter I would probably use something lighter. This old car floor shifter is pretty heavy. I was able to thin out the end of the shifter by grinding it, drilled a hole in it and attached the original brake cable. Thanks for the comments!

  • @essexisbest ------ Hey guys i like the chopper , umm iv built a streched schwinn crusier chopper it has a 8 foot wheel base rides good and vary fun to ride ive got a video of it so if you get the chance check it out thanks

  • NICE! Went to my first bicycle show which got me looking through you tube for custom built bicycles and how I ran into your post. Saw a lot of choppers and stretch cruisers. Check out " Sacramento cyclefest bicycle show 2011" on you tube. Thanks for sharing looking foward to getting into the scene.

  • Nice Bike !!! Like that Shifter, I was reading your post about not being familiar with a "Stretch Cruiser" if I can post it, I'll shoot you over a video of mine.

  • @phoenixvai - The back wheel was a whole different monster. I found a fabrication guy who builds mini-motorcycles and he agreed to try and build me a freewheeling rear axle that would fit a mini-chopper wheel and tire because, as you probably know, the bicycle rearend has to freewheel. As far as I know, my setup was the only one he ever built (he cut the gear for me too). The front sprocket and chain are heavy duty BMX parts (and the chain is actually 2 1/2 chains linked together)!

  • @essexisbest i was half asleep last night. so i explained wrong. "my bad"

The sprocket on back tire is what i am wondering how you set it up. I wasn't sure if you did it by welding the back wheel assembly of a bicycle in the rim of the car rim? Or if you used a actual motorcycle sprocket for this.

I cant wait to see your how to videos on this. thank you for your reply ill keep an eye out for more vids. Good luck cant wait to see what you come up with next.
