A secret shared- Dimi, one year! (please read desc)

i cannot actually believe i've had dimi for just over a year now! he came home on the 10th of november 2008 :D

i love this horse so much, and i owe him shedloads too, he's made me the rider i am today. Ive done my first xc on him, my first showjumping class on him, has my first proper jumping lesson on him, learnt to ride in a proper outline on him, understood how to get them working through their backs properly when im schooling, aagh he's taught me so much. its taken me a year to really get to grips with him, he is by far the most difficult horse i have ever ridden, he is so bloody stubborn he doesnt give an inch and fights me so often, but then he see's that im just trying to make it more comfortable for him and we fly. he frustrates me by not picking up his feet if he doesnt think the jumps big enough, but will fly over 1.10 with his eyes closed. he doesn't bother about other horses in the warm up and will happily let me school him in warm ups at shows that are so busy theres nowhere to park, but will go mental in the ring and bomb around everywhere. he has the best character in the world, he's so happy all the time, and even when im crying with frustration riding him, when i finish and loosen my girth and he starts trying to nibble my hand to get a polo, i just smile. i cant imagine anything without him anymore, he's my superstar.

none of this would have happened if what happened to fergus hadn't happened. I miss you every single day f, i know your keeping you little eye on us, i love you so much, rest in peace.

Can't believe it's been a year! you guys have came on so much in such a short time, it's been so incredible to watch your journey! He's such a fab horse with so much talent and bags of character! And you're so great with him, he couldn't have anyone better, you're such a fab rider and deserve all the success that's certain to come! Love you two a tonne xoxox
