So experimental methods is what they had

But Townsends fields were the only that grewgrew

Now the people were fat, rich, and happy
They started making babies quick and snappy
The population exploded and it was just too big
So moving to America is what they did

Now in America there was a need for labor
So Brits took in slaves from their southern neighbor
The Africans were sold over the Atlantic
Then the growth of commerce became quite frantic

English women tripped on slave heaven
So they abolished slavery in 1807
Nobody really paid attention though
And the slave trade continued to grow
