Mullin joins the techcrew after an exhaustive hazing ritual (Which probably tells you more about them then you ever wanted to know)and Claus and Lavie take part in the famous Horizon Cave Eight vanship race. While all that inconsequential crap is going on, a suspiciously familiar masked figure approaches Alex during an underground auction if for no better reason then to attempt to get some plot exposition going.

Special thanks to TyrestGWA of Gundam Wing abridged who provided the voice of maskology and if you don't know what I'm talking about then follow the bouncing ball to http://ca.youtube.com/user/GWingTAS
in order to get a better understanding.

Animation credits as always go Gonzo Digimation.

Music, in order of appearance, none of which is owned by me is as follows.

Dueling Banjos from Deliverance
Just Communication (Japaneese in the opening and the american instrumental version at the half way point)
Leaving on a Jet Plane
Sweet home chicago
Theme from Superman
Those magnificent men in thier flying machines
Theme from the A team
Handel's fireworks overture

  • Oh come on! a Blues brothers reference is considered lame?

  • No, it's more that Alvis standing there waving the goat up and down is considered lame.

    Blues Brothers = Teh Shit!

  • IDK. I prefer the other abridged series better. It does a better job landing it's jokes, and voice acting is better...

enjoyed eps. 1 and 3 the most in both your and other guys series.

    2 stars

  • It's not really jokes I'm making. I prefer to think of it as a series of humourous dialogue loosely strung together half with a stollen plot and half with a series of musical and literary references. You are of course allowed your own oppinion on the result.

  • honestly, ive been wondering what atf stood for since the first episode....

    the movie references were awesome.

    keep 'em coming! :)

  • Yeah, that's sort of why I put that in there...

  • Oh my god. Alvis is too much. She's hilarious in this.

  • This series is done horrifyingly right.

It hurts to watch, but it hurts even more not to watch.

Oh, god, I feel obesened just thinking about it.

Text, dialogue and background auction lines. What were you thinking?!

I also enjoyed the sweet home Chicago reference. A good song.

(and no, this is not my first viewing of this episode$

  • Dio :"hey Emo-man Where's mother"

YES!!! I've wanted someone to do that with him ^_^

  • Do you want me to read the subtitles or watch the show? I am kind sick of doing both.. have to pause - playback - pause, if its nothing important (as if it was to this point) Im just going to ignore them

  • YAY Tyrest cameod as Zechs XD! That mask is so iconic XD! AWESOMEness! Btw happy birthday to Tyrest ^^

  • "Try me!"

  • This was like the only thing that bothered me in the original show. Silvana leaving Claus and Lavie. First I thought it was a just a mistake. Then I thought it was the creator's way of getting Dio and Luciola on board so the characters and the viewers could get closer to them before they died (except Dio...never mind). Now I really do think it was some sort of conspiracy to get rid of the (admittedly pointless) main characters. And that makes me sad. D:

  • use a light switch? wheres the drama and filler for that?

  • Great Blues brother reference.

  • 3:07 Was that a Scrubs reference i was about to hear outta sophia's mouth. Me like that! =D

Yes i'm all for the oblivious pop-culture telly references thank you...........IN-YOUR-ENDO!!!!
