Vortex sculpture conceptually represents the centrifugal force concentrated in the epicentre of the tornado as it touches the ground.
For its design, I generated a tornado, capturing and solidifying its form. After that I transform the particles into a mesh. Finally I extract the vortex´s area, and refine its epicenter until the final design.
Once finished, digitally re carved sculpture, readjusting, improving their surface and adapting it to the CAD / CAM processes for subsequent mechanized process.
