This piece is the piano version of the song "precious memories" that plays at the opening of the anime "Kimi Ga nozomu Eien"

I used Native Instruments Akoustik piano as vst instrument. M-Audio firewire Audiophile as sound card, creative prodikeys as keyboard.

  • Hi everyone, does anybody know if i can use Akoustik Piano with a midi keyboard and USB port 1.1, The fact that i would use a 1.1 Usb port would affect or make noises or crash? Anybody using akoustik piano with a 1.1 Usb Port? Please help!

  • There are two aspects of using USB port with Akoustik Piano software

    1) Midi keyboard

    2) External Sound Card

USB 1.1 or 2.0 doesn't make a difference on Midi keyboard's performance. However, it greatly differs for usb external sound cards. If you have a usb external sound card, do not connect it to a usb 1.1 port. Otherwise, there won't be a problem.

  • this is rlly nice! im planning to buy this keyboard. do you think it's good for a beginner? I want to use it to teach myself piano. Have you ever encountered serious problems with it?

    Thnx ^^

    Nice job btw

  • If you think of learning piano with a midi keyboard, you must look for a keyboard with full sized piano keys and at least one pedal connection. m-audio Keystation series are a budget choice for learning piano.

You may consider buying a low end hammer action piano like casio privia series and yamaha p85 too.

  • thnx. I wanna ask if this is a good keyboard b/c im planning to buy one. Since I don't have a teacher this could teach me a few things or two. Once I feel like I wanna play piano I will buy a real full sized keyboard.

Oh does this only work with USB plug? Does it have a PS/2 cable for computer like normal plugs? Is it bad if you leave it in ur USB plug for too long?

    Thanks again

  • Hi again, Yes i think this is a good keyboard. There is no way you can find another such small keyboard with touch sensitivity anyway.:)

And yes, it works with USB plug. But today, most of the normal keyboards use USB plug too so that won't be a problem. And you can use this keyboard with a laptop too.
