  • uhm mr cupojoes, what type of peterson pipe is that at 3:10 ? please & thank you

  • @666risinghell It's a Peterson shape XL90. That particular finish has been discontinued for a while now, but there are currently about 12 different finishes available. You can see them by entering XL90 in the search box on cupojoes.com

  • this has probably been the most informative pipe video on youtube. 5/5

  • I found mine in an antique shop and it has a very...very old bowl

  • Awesome insight into the inner workings of pipes, thank you. Happy smoking.

  • very professional presentation thank you!

  • very good video

  • @JamesAedan You are very correct. I would agree that it is the best place to start. lol I didn't want to make it sound as if I thought I'd made some horrible mistake but I wish I had known more when I bought it. The draft hole in my first pipe was nearly half way up the bowl and a few other small things that make it rather tricky to smoke sometimes. As I learn more I see that a lot of it was my fault for poor technique. lol I'm still working on it!

  • @kin3ticwav Well, buying a cheap pipe as a first pipe isn't such a bad decision.

The problem is that pipe smoking isn't for everyone, we all know that. So if you buy an expensive pipe just to find out it isn't for you, you wasted money. If it was a cheap pipe, meh, no big deal.
