@shuttakid the doe budget is increased every year, they get far more than enough and should be ended. If things went right schools would be private and good teachers would get paid much more. But unfortunately people think they'd make more if their paychecks were stolen from others, and it don't really work like that.
+ the average American teacher makes a good bit more than the average American non teacher. (doesn't mean they shouldn't make more IF they are a truly good teacher.

He is completely right. I can't explain it right now because I am really sleepy, but teachers should be paid more money and earn a higher position in society because they have a huge role in the future generations.
