Victor Borge & Co. Part 8:8 New years eve 1991 -
This medley begins at 7,15 in clip 7 of 8 and continues here and amongst other songs in the medley of Danish 'Folk songs' arranged by Victor Borge is:

3 I know the melody but cannot recall the title (Maybe someone can help)

and in the clip 8 of 8 is

5 I know the melody but cannot recall the title (Maybe someone can help)

8 Drømmebilleder (composed 1846) by Hans Christian Lumbye (1810-1874) *)

10 I know this mysterious mix of 2 tunes but cannot recall the title (Maybe someone can help)

  • Yes it is. In his last many years he made it a habit to end his performance worldwide with this Danish arrangement to honour the country who brought him up. This was - for a Dane - very very dear. He came to Denmark every summer to perform, and Tivoli Gardens and this old place he preferred, and I have enjoyed him 3 times here over the years.

    Thanks for rating and favoriting.

  • @mugge62 but who and 'the composer? and what is the name of the title fool?

  • The last 2 videos in this story has a grate finaly. Not sure if it's a genuine TV-moment, bur the cadet had his wits about him, closing a grate evening with "The Danish Folk Songs". V. B. RIP. Many thanks to both the entertainers, as well as to our local video journalist, widening our scope. Beff
