There used to be a full length clip where Connee spoke as well....wonder where that went :(
This one has that part edited out but still great clip

Great hard to find clip, thanks

As always, their performance is spot on. Love it! (BTW, I've never seen a piano lid close and open so fast!)
-
They had a sophisticated harmony together and changing tempos which were way ahead of their time and made most songs of that era seem simple and bland. Their singing is very appealing today because they have stood the test of time.

@metaphorce42 You're right - that is indeed Abe Lyman!
-
@harryoakley It appears to be from a short called Rambling Round Radio Row #1. The sh_t in question must be Abe Lyman. Here's a synopsis from IMDB.com (trimmed for YT length):
Jerry Wald has to write about radio, visiting Sid Gary gives him the tip it might be more easy for him to write this article at the radio station. At the studio they listen to the Boswell Sister's rehearsal, which is interrupted by some not so friendly remarks by orchestra leader Abe Lyman, they listen at the door...

Awesome clip and superb Video quality! I'm glad too see a few more actual videos of the Sister's work has showed up since I last checked many months ago.

Wow they are so harmonic.
If they were still performing they would indubididly go platinum.

Fantastic! This is the third early Boswells tune on film - unlike the other clips this is clearly a scene from a movie. Who is the s..t with the nasty comments?
