It's ironic that you came from full sail because i was very much considering going there in about a year after i graduate high school and taking the same major - in your honest opinion what do you think of the school as a whole and the program - if you respond you can pm me, totally up to you =] (Great demo reel too!!!)

Amazing work! I especially loved the first one, and using your best first is always a big win! One question, how do you generally do your materials? Do you opt for polygon id, lerp tree or just one big awesome map (With detail texture, perhaps)?

@Allingby It alllll depends on what the limits are and such. But for the first scene I had repeatables for the wood metal rust and ground textures. Then for the 1 rock and for the 2 plants I made custom textures. The metal has a vertex painting method setup where you can vert paint the rust on and it actually goes from rust to nothing so that it could look like the rust was eating into the metal. (: Thanks!
