Nom-con 2011 Highlights #1: Veronica Taylor Commands Pikachu to use Thunderbolt

During the Veronica Taylor panel that took place today at Nom-con 2011, Veronica Taylor of Pokemon and Slayers fame, and arguably the voice of my childhood, was asked to cry out "Pikachu! Use Thuderbolt!!!" in Ash's voice.

What followed was, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the highlights of my experience at the convention, and one of two I managed to capture on video for you viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

I miss that voice. The new voice of ash just doesn't have the same kind of vigor in my oppinion.

@ultimateanimefighter Veronica said this at the panel; "I don't really watch a lot of the new Episodes of Pokemon. It feels very alien to me and I feel that some of the heart is gone." or at least along those lines. While it makes me feel a bit shallow for doing so, I have to agree with her.

@RoyHavenstone2 Yeah. Exactly my point. There's just something about the new episodes that just doesn't make it fun like the old ones. I don't know what it is to be honest. All i know is that i don't like it.
