I am very sorry to say that this technique no longer works in the alpha 0 version of blender because the rigid body constraints do not work in the newer version. when (if) they do, I will make sure to make a tutorial.
see if you made the cubes smaller would it not have more of a random effect? like here it can only bend so much.. if you made the cubes smaller would it go more crazy?
@MrKamilianuk well they would be able to bend a lot further so yes. you can also set it so that no collision occurs between the constrainted objects in the constraint options
@TheFXGuy I can get my previously created file to work, but whenever I start from scratch it crashes or simply doesn't work :( Hopefully it will work when beta comes around!
