How to Recover Lost Final Cut Files

Hey Guys,

First off I just want to say that I'm very sorry that I haven't made a video in a while. I wasn't planning on making this video. It just happened and I want to show the YouTube community how to recover lost final cut files.

Steps:
1. Your FCP, FCE, or Motion probably just unexpectedly quit on you after working your tail off for hours without saving.
2. Go to Finder
3. search: AutoSave Vault
4. Select the appropriate folder
5. continue working

isn't that magical?

if you want final cut to save more frequently, in final cut, go to Final Cut Pro, User Settings, and change the number in the Autosave Vault to something smaller than every 30 minutes.
