BATTERY LIFE = 2 OR LESS HOURS. Pretty good laptop tho, ive had it for around a year, quite powerful, but it always FAILS. I must of had to completely wipe my hard drive like 3 times in a year cuz it gives up on life when the hard drive gets full. Other than that id say its a decent laptop, but i wouldnt buy it, i won mine ;)

This laptop is expensive for a 13 inch, around same price as mac. and it heats up easily, the built in fans are totally useless. and the touch pad is made of a glassy material and it is soooo hard to slide around. its like dragging ur finger on glass! worst laptop ever

@mrfullback39 probably not, since it has 1.20GHz processor, however the 3GB of RAM is nice.

@mrfullback39 Hi, it looks like the model of the HP Pavilion dm3 that you purchased has good Intel HD graphics included and you should be able to enjoy some of the games you mention. However, for optimal performance and experience we would recommend discrete (or dedicated) graphics. You may also want to check the system requirements for the games to be sure your configuration will support them. Thanks for your purchase!!

I really like this laptop, but my 1030wm always freezes after a couple of weeks. The easiest way to fix this is to just do a complete system recovery. There seems to be some update issues as well. Is there a way I can keep this laptop running well? I have updated virus protection and everything too, but after a couple of weeks, it just complete becomes a piece of shit and then I have to recover it again!

@ShermayneLor I'm not a tech support expert, but a colleague says that if system restore fixes it, it sounds like an issue with something else you're installing.

@12345652180 HP notebooks charge the battery while the notebook is plugged into an electrical outlet. Once the battery is charged, the notebook begins to use the electric power only and does not keep charging the notebook – you can notice this by hovering over the battery icon on the taskbar. So there is no real need to take out the battery, unless you will be using it plugged in for extended periods of time (like months at a time).
