'Buraku Bientu' (windpipe). This cleft in the coral rock is in fact erosion of the coral rock. The remarkable porous coastal region was formerly a limestone reef that has been elevated above sea-level. Air is squeezed through an underwater tunnel by the waves and transported across a "natural bridge" which makes lively blowing sounds when released. The powerful breaking waves produce colourful light effects as they explode against the rock walls.
