Whoever lived in Puerto Rico in the 70's, there was a great store in Condado called Stereo Warehouse. It was the only place where you could buy the Saga album...and yes, it was in 1978...whatta album. It still stands to this very day :D

You folks have no idea how big Saga was in the late 70's and early 80's in Puerto Rico. This song was like a was like an anthem to us Saga fans. I still listen to it and get chills, just remembering...

This song changed my taste in music, for real.

I was in college when the Saga debut album came out. I can't recall anything from it being played on radio, and Saga continually trashed by rock critics..calling it a big letdown. It wasn't until I heard them play one of our pub nights a year later when they were touring with their 2nd album. And that's when I realized what the problem was.....you see, the music industry was looking to catch the "new wave," and wanted to bury prog rock in the late 70's. But I'll be a prog rock fan forever!

@ravagebang Holy shit, you said it, especially when you threw in Pendragon and Arena! In the Dead of Night kicks ass. Clutching at Straws by Marillion depicts my struggles with alcoholism to a tee. One of my favorite albums of all-time. Porcupine Tree's 'Light Bulb Sun' is up there too. However, Jellyfishes' 'Spilt Milk' is in my top 5! Favorite Saga tune- 'Goodbye, Once Upon A Time'.

One of the best Prog Rock bands all times, beside Yes, Rush, Pink Floyd, Camel, Marillion, Genesis, UK, Twelfth Night, IQ, Pendragon, Quasar, Arena, Pallas and much others....!
