The "pod" inserts were different between 1960 and 1961. Unless the hood was changed this truck is a 1961. It may have been officially built at the factory in late 1960 but it is a 1961. I own a 1960 Chevy Apache and it was built in late October 1959 at the factory.

I like the 61 style, thanks for the video.

I agree with Chris, I have a 60 and it is not the same, the hood is, but the grill is diff and the brows in the hood too, that burkhartw is a 1961 Apache.
Go look it up and you'll quickly see, the 60 brows on the hood have lines going down and the grill does say chevy, but not like that

@burkhartw i have a '60, and youre right
-
awesome while driving up it looks like its babyed and everthing and then pulls up and the dent in the door shows it still used a truck
-
@burkhartw yeah! indeed for 2 years, but the 60 chevy had a lot of straight lines in the hood, not the cross like design, that design is from the 61 apache, and then is the grill, in the 60 apache there is a different design from the 61, the 61 says chevrolet in big letters just like your truck. so it must be a 61, unless you changed the hood and the grille.. i tell you because i have one :)

Did you get that huge dent in the door fixed?
-
@08grizzly450 I would be too didn't you hear that truck snarl at him?
-
1961
i got one.. not 60
-
dose this truck have the original chasey with the torsn bar?
That's a '61 buddy. Unless you put '61 grill inserts in the front of the hood.

@christopher5361 no it is for sure a 60'. Says so on the pickup itself. And chevy had that style of hood two years, 60' and 61'.
