Concurrent combining of instability, proprioceptive stimulation, and plyometric strength loading in multi-planes using visual and auditory cues will enhance the effectiveness of the movements. Exercises requiring an instant reaction to the unpredictable and sudden changes of situation sharpen neuromuscular efficiency. Complex non-impact plyometrics and high-velocity movements that condition the nervous system enhance the speed with which the fast-twitch muscle fibers respond by increasing the speed of stimulating and inhibiting muscle groups.

  • Is there a facilty in Massachusetts?

I know I found a website that mentions the Methuen or Lawrence area, but no info on services (classes, rates, programs, etc.) for this type of training. Would like to know more if it is Massachusetts. Thanks

  • @MTCG88

Used to be but we re moving all to San Diego to be near Marv.

  • i think theyre 10 lbs. am i supposed to feel muscle fatigue or what?

  • ive done this workout for about 3 days and i havent felt anything from it. what am i supposed to feel? is it supposed to get your heart rate up, get you sweating, or just stretching? im really wondering i should continue this workout.

  • @alandagr86393

Did you do the workout with the proper handballs? If so increase the weight and do more reps. Make sure you are on your toes and use the proper footwork

  • You are one ignorant bastard. Marv has a true outlook on training. Look at Troy Polamolu & the new Bj Penn. I have switched from hard strength training to his mechanics & over 3 months I have slimmed down by 20 pounds & I almost have the same strength with quicker movements. Dont talk unless you have tried all different types of workouts including Marv's

  • a horrible rip off of dr edythe heus' work

  • @scarred10 LMAO.. I find it really funny how trolls such as yourself like to abuse the word "science" and never actually speak and debate your points. lmao really funny

  • @TrueGreatness73 we can debate here if you like,I'll use lots of scientific terms if that gives you the horn, bigboy.Im trying to keep the message simple so marv will be able to read it.

  • @scarred10 Dumb ass people like yourself talk like you know shit and are quick to criticize without knowing anything. I workout 5 days a week non stop. Let me know if you want to jump on skype so we can have a formal debate about Marvs workout and science. I hate dumb ass people such as yourself thats always quick to talk shit and use the word "science" and never mention 1 scientific term. Learn how to explain shit instead of just name calling and using the word "science" without any meaning.LOL

  • @TrueGreatness73 you could workout forever and know nothing about the science behind it,a formal education is needed. Therefore your opinion means nothing.IF youve a degree in an area you dont have a deep understanding of,the course was a joke.Spend 4 yrs 5dys a week doing anything and youll understand it very well.

  • @scarred10 I been working out my whole life and seen it all. I played football for 15 years and 2 years pro. I also am a ex amature MMA fighter. I have worked out at his facility and I can approve of his methods. Of course BJ has a horrible work ethic but when he was with Marvs that changed. I know a ton of people with degrees in subjects they know nothing about. I graduated from Kansas State University. A degree doesn't mean you are smart on that subject.

  • @TrueGreatness73 unfortunately its marv thats the brainless bastard, not 1 day of university education in exercise science and it shows in every word that comes out of his ignornt mouth and every video he posts.Ive a masters degree in ex phys and have worked in the field for over 10 yrs.Bj has a horible work ethic and just needs his ass kicked ,it has nothing to do with marvs methods

  • to be honest i have done this workout several times when i bought the book. At the most it just feels like a good stretch and is somewhat refreshing. But it doesn't replace weight training or cardio for me.

  • @dynamicintegration when is a good time to do these? daily? before or after workouts or as a workout of its own?

  • @dynamicintegration Hi! my name is Gonzalo i live in sweden i got so interested of this way of training watching the bj penn workout video. i wonder how big should the ball be if im 178 cm tall? this is awesome :)
