In the post caboose era modern freight trains use an EOT or a F.R.E.D. (flashing rear end device). These device do more then flash, they monitor the air pressure in the train and report to the engineer.

  • Hi Guys my Company supply these in kit form which are powered by 3volt battery and switchable. £6.95 sterling and ordered by PayPal free postage. Check out YouTube - ay76 rear flashing light.

    Regards,

    Rob

  • @MonsterRailroad i can make 1 for 5 bucks

  • I got EOT yesturday. It took me less than 5minutes to install it. They work pretty darn good

  • Not even a full day passed and my EOT went dead on DC power. Warranty says that I have to send it to Ring along with $15 and they'll repair it. They should change their directions to "DCC only" or use stronger LEDs

  • i love model train stuff .com

  • oh ok, i see what u mean

  • Very simple, $39.99 Is that not outrageous for a damn flasher? YES!! I got mine from m iniatronics for $12 granted it is not connected to a coupler it still does the job and looks good too. $40 is fucking GAY
