Michael Rutzen The Sharkman Rides On A Great White Shark

Mike Rutzen is an expert on the great white shark and an outspoken champion of shark conservation. His fame spread due to the images of his free diving exploits swimming with the animals without a cage. Mike has spent more time swimming cage-less with great whites than anyone else. He has since travelled the world lecturing on sharks and filming documentaries on them.

@yeltneBmadA Humans aren't their natural food. Most GW shark attacks are mistaken identity or curiousity. Just a curious bite and then they leave. Problem is, their bite is HUGE.

I would love to do this but something in my mind says "what if it turns to shit and for some reason it wants to kill/eat you" If a White wants you, it will take you, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. Respect to this guy though. Real brave.

Mike Rutzen is a bit crazy i think. Anybody seen the film where he dives with great white sharks when the sharks are in hunting mode?

Svereral great whites and Mike in the water. Boat on the surface towing a rubber seal behind and the sharks attacks the dummy seal.

First time i have seen a shark breaching the surface filmed from under the water..
