Holy frick man that could be a pygmy octopus, stupid human! Those things are friggen nocturnal, you obviously didn't put too many things for the octopus to make a den out of. I can tell that octopus is REALLY stressed, either do your research or don't dump an octopus in a friggen 5 gallon tank filled with tap water like those kindergartens at petco!

Octopi generally need 40-50 gallons minimum to grow to full size. Not only that, but if the octopus inks itself, a large water change must be done to protect it.
