  • Victor Wooten and John Scofield have similar lessons on youtube.

  • Very good lesson. I practice this when playing drums but I hadn't thought of doing this on guitar.

  • Another good metronome routine is to set the clicks to the back beats (beats 2 and 4 in 4/4 time).

  • @jimiclaptoncarl i have a couple. i cant find my cheapest one to check it, but i have a digital one on my computer which does. there are loads online that you can find that can do any beats

  • Can your metronome go to 26bpm?

  • @Simbadwashere90 Really?? I must have a piece of crap then... :P

Can you recomend one that can do this; make it click on 1 and then lay out for a whole measure? Thanks ;)

  • @jimiclaptoncarl most standard electronic metronomes do all this

  • Anybody know what metronome he's using???

And how can his metronome do all that?

  • @evh5150316 totally agreed

theres so many things that can make you get a song wrong like the rhythm, notes, strumming style, etc etc etc

and talent plays a key factor

  • Getting the funk tone out of your guitar is about your amp. And the funk sound is your playing. There's a difference in playing funk throught a mesa boogie and a Twin Reverb.
