Does it really matter? i like slipknot obviously from my name but also death metal bands, people can call me a poser but im still going to be listening to death metal anyways, so im a guy who likes metal, thats all, you act like if you don't listen to "real metal" then your not a "real metalhead" i bet the members listen to stuff you don't know that isn't even close to metal....so idk why people bitch about people being posers, not you though, other people

Hate to break to you man, but death/black metal bands aren't exactly true metal. You want true metal you gotta listen to Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Helloween, Metal Church, or Armored Saint. You know, bands with a classic sound. Extreme metal (death and black) just sounds like shit and the vocals are just about as false as you can get. Cookie Monster growling ruins metal. Classic, power, and thrash are the true fucking metals.
