I think the ball was barely out of his hands. This year there was this controversial buzzer beater between Michigan State and Wisconsin. The building clock and shot clock times were out of sync. Originally they counted it but after review they overturned it.

@ItzTooSik The ball has to be out of the player's hands/fingers when the red buzzer light goes off. This is the closest one I have ever seen.
