Just picked up this baby to replace a Numark with some very bad bleeding problems, very great mixer overall, got a great deal on it and am satisfied! Recomend for anyone looking for a solid mixer!
This was a quick little review and a few things I fixed on it from general wear/personal preference. Very easy mixer to service and clean and has a great sound!
@pipee0925 Yeah, Id say your rotary pots are probably bad, pretty common after a lot of use, and those are the two first knobs to go usually. I would just find someone who knows how to do soldering on PCBs or a repair shop that will do it and have them replace the two rotary pots. I wish I could do this for you, but I dont have the tools to do that kind of work.

@djsareawesome bass knob won't change the bass level and the effects rotary pot is acting up too

@pipee0925 Ah I see, well just letting you know. I dunno id let it go for 300+ shipping. I would say that okay, but I wouldn't want to risk messing up your mixer, as I am not a certified repairman. That sucks, sorry for the late reply. Im not sure then, I would say try sam ash then. If you took it to a tv repair store even they might do it if you tell em what you want done. Is the bass knob loose or just work out?

@djsareawesome i would buy it, but I recently bought some speakers and don't have alot of cash, just name your price just in case, and also, if i could send my mixer to you, how much would you charge me? because the repair shops here in miami are litteraly guitar center & sam ash, the nearest audio repair shop is pretty much a city away!)

@pipee0925 Thats proly a good idea, and the repair shouldnt be more than 50 to 100 bucks. I would ask your local repair shop though. I don't recommend guitar center or american music fore repairs as they overcharge heavily. If you ever want a replacement, Im selling the DJM 500 from this video.

@djsareawesome definatly will not do this myself, i am not a trained professional at this, and this mixer is too good do mess it up and waste another $400 on it -.-, how much do you think this could cost to repair?

@pipee0925 Hey man, what happens over time is the rotary pot wears out from excessive use, this is probably what is happening with your effects center as well. The rotary pots are replaceable but its a tough repair, and I would say you would need to be very good at soldering and have the right tools (a solder sucker etc), but its do-able. I would recommend having a professional do it unless you are very confident in your ability.

been a while, anyways,my channel 3 has decided that the bass does not affect the sound, meaning when I want to turn down the bass,it will keep it normal, same goes when I want to crank it up.Also,my effects work, but when I turn the selector knobs to certain configurations, the effect won't work or will switch to another effect. For example, when I have the effect set on reverb to master,it works fine, but when I set the reverb to channel 2, the effect won't work(kills sound) or it switches to flanger.

@DJmasion Hey bud, it depends on what the problem is. If the button still works, like you can still click it, then your little on/off switch, called a tactile switch, is probably worn out. these tend wear out after a while and need more pressure/ multiple presses to engage. I would recommend replacing it, ill see if i can find the part number for you.
