@euro42 Cheers, that makes sense-once coming home from France, a helicopter hovered above the ferry we were on, just a ''dry run'' for a rescue situation- luckily no one injured/ill. Thanks so much for info.

@Oakleaf700 This is the winch zone for the helicopter. If you have personnel of equipment that is delivered or retrieved with a helicopter the pilot in the chopper will use this circle as his target for his winch wire.

Can anyone tell me please, what the yellow circle is on the front of the deck is? I have seen these before on channel ferries, why yellow, and why a circle?

Im a tug captain in the U.S., and that has to be the prettiest work boat Ive ever seen. excellent job to the designers.

I totally agree, in my opinion, Norwegian ship design is the most good looking ship design in the world! At least in most cases!
