A quick tutorial on how to add materials in the material library of SketchUp. Just remember to add seamless textures for large areas so you won't end up with patterned materials.

  • Help, I have windows 7 and everytime I try this whenever I start a new model i goes away. can you help?

  • @16shicp Try to go into your program files -- SketchUp 8 --- Materials Folder and manual drag JPEGS or PNGS in that folder. That way will ensure they wont disappear. Hope this helps. But I looked up issues/bugs with windows 7 and SketchUp, and there were complaints for this. Try to search for an SketchUp update for your operating system and see if there is anything that fixes it.
