Adding New Materials in Sketchup - Tutorials for Landscape Architects

A quick tutorial on how to add materials in the material library of SketchUp. Just remember to add seamless textures for large areas so you won't end up with patterned materials.

Help, I have windows 7 and everytime I try this whenever I start a new model i goes away. can you help?

@16shicp Try to go into your program files -- SketchUp 8 --- Materials Folder and manual drag JPEGS or PNGS in that folder. That way will ensure they wont disappear. Hope this helps. But I looked up issues/bugs with windows 7 and SketchUp, and there were complaints for this. Try to search for an SketchUp update for your operating system and see if there is anything that fixes it.
