@Turok9702 Yeah, a lot of the issues of the original comic series can be very expensive and hard to find. Took me a couple of years to build my collection of it. However, the Valiant series is very common and will only set you back 2-3 dollars per issue (of which there are 53) if you're interested in those, and the Valiant series is much cooler and more enjoyable in this fan's humble opinion. The Acclaim series is for the die-hard fans only. They read like fan-fiction written by a 12 year old.

@Floydzkrieg oh sorry, your definitely not a dick, your just a hardcore fan. I respect you for that alot, I know alot about Turok but definitely not the comics. I want the comics bad but it's really hard to get my hands on them.

@Turok9702 Actually it's not based on the original comics. The original Gold Key comics didn't feature the "Lost Land", a pastiche of the universe made up from everything and anything in it, but rather the "Lost Valley" where dinosaurs just happened to survive for millions of years on Earth. This film is closer to Valiant's version of Turok and Andar's adventures. Also, Turok's first appearence was in Four Color #596 in 1954. Not trying to be a dick. I'm just a huge Turok fanatic.

True, they were only 2/3 that size. Much larger than a human but small than a Tyrannosaurus.
