Having listened closely to the "burping" sound again and again now - it´s most probably made by scratching along one of the low piano strings with some hard object.
My guess is that the "culprit" is the Joker John Halsey ...

@voxsupreme The "burp sound" is the bass end of the piano. You can hear it is followed by some rising notes that sound more like a piano.

Great song of a fantastic group that developed into the outstandingly unique band Patto who I had the privilege of seeing live twice; At the 1970 Reading festival and, (Big Surprise me being from Sweden), in our capital Stockholm 1972!
I just love almost everything that Patto did – I even played on John Halseys drums at a jam session 1976 at Dingwalls, London. A memory for Life ...
BUT!
What/who is doing that almost burp like sound after every "I´m begging Youuu..." in the background?

i like this song from Timebox,Frankie Valli and Madcon all different styles. i dont care who sings it best they all are the best for me. but good to see music is timeless.
