Empal Goreng 750 grams of beef cut into cubes 3 flattened garlic cloves 1 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp corriander powder 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 tsp tamarind 2 lime leaves 1 Tbsp palm sugar (or honey) 1 beef bullion cube white pepper Cook on medium heat till tender & water is evaporated After about 1 1/2 hrs separate meat from liquid; reserve the liquid & use as condiment (over the meat, or over rice) Heat oil in a pan or wok. Fry beef until brown. Watch carefully as the meat will brown easily.

@pinkclover90 : Kalo di Canada sini saya selalu pilih daging sapi yg judulnya ''Bottom Blade'' tadi say cek di google sepertinya kalo di USA disebut ''Chuck Blade'' atau ''Blade roast'' - gak pasti sih tapi gak usah repot2 cari aja daging sapi yang ada lemaknya dikit diantara serat dagingnya, menurut saya itu yang paling mantap untuk masakan Indonesia :)

@mathijs4600 : in this video im serving steamed rappini. In the island of Java, steam/boiled vegies known as kulupan, while fresh vegies - cut in bite pieces known as lalapan. You can serve empal goreng with either of them with or without sambal. Happy cooking :)
