It was the first I'd had wasabi mashed, too. It was an interesting and enjoyable combination.
I'm probably going to get another Snickers bar. What a dessert!

Yeah, I've never heard of wasabi mashed potatoes, but I love wasabi and potatoes, so I'd imagine they'd make an excellent dish combined. And as for the fried Snickers bar, all I have to say is yum! LOL.

Thanks--unfortunately you're a little too late on checking them out. They recently went out of business! We're trying to schedule the next review sometime soon.

Joe, did Scorpio's pay you for that review? We've been there twice now and while it *IS* a decent restaurant it's not worth the high prices.
If you have the money go to Salt Creek in Rumson or make a day out of it and go to Peter Luger's or Ruth's Christ.

Thanks for the comment. Scorpio's did not pay for the review--though to be reviewed, we do require that the restaurants we approach for the show comp the food we get for the review.
I agree with your assessment, and that's why they took a huge hit in the ranking for price. I enjoyed the food, and as I noted, the dessert especially, but it's out of my price range!
I'll keep those restaurants in mind, thanks for the tip!
