Climate change 4 degrees Celsius map - presentation to Minister Vejonis

On 29 October Charge d'Affaires Dr. Antony Stokes presented to Latvian Environment Minister Raimonds Vejonis (GFU) a map showing the effects of a global temperature increase by 4 degrees C in the presence of the media. The Minister explained to the journalists that "the world as we know it would disappear if climate change continues unrestrained." He pointed to reaching a new agreement on limiting carbon emissions in Copenhagen as a crucial and necessary step forward.
