GW2 may have a better overall art style, (in my opinion) but it does not allow for facial close ups, expressions and directed cut scenes, SWTOR's style was chosen as it makes the cut scenes look best given its mmo requirments, after seeing a lot of player's footage, and the way the dialogue scenese are intergrated, it begins to win you over.

Responding to my response because I feel its necessary. I have SWTOR. I dont think its the worst thing ever. But I do feel its just a sideways step in a direction that many soon will not care about.

Those are just some of the reasons why GW2 is changing the way people look at the mmo genre. I hope they succeed and I hope others will follow their lead and bring in a new generation of mmo.
