  • @snaps81625 I have never canned anything so I don't know! It lasts months in the fridge, though.

  • is it ok to substitute half and half for the heavy whipping cream? :O

  • @kuroshitsuji101 I haven't tried it but wouldn't recommend it. The flavor would still be good, but it wouldn't be as thick. If that doesn't bother you, then go for it.

  • arent you not supposed to stir because it can crystallize?

  • @SporkyPoo It does get crystallized around the edges but there's no way to avoid it with this kind of burnt sugar recipe for caramel sauce. The finished product does not have any crystallization.
