Here's a link to part 2:

Here's two links to where you can get an Eastsheen 4x4:
http://www.e-sheen.com/
http://www.cube4you.com/

Here's a link to where you can get high quality replacement stickers for your cubes: (They will fit both brands.)
http://cubesmith.com/

And lastly, here's a link to where you can check up on V-Cubes, and see if they have a 4x4 yet. I don't anticipate them releasing one any time soon.

Okay, enough links! This method is called "Reduction". It is not necessarily the best method, but it is very fast and efficient. Most fast solvers use this method. It's easy to understand too. No algorithms in this video, but there will be a few in part two.

The centers are very intuitive. You should have no problems with this... but make extra sure you understand the concept of making a 'straight line' with two pairs.. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT! That's about all for this video though. Also make extra sure your centers are in the right place, relative to one another. Check your 3x3.

Hope you enjoy! Please comment and rate!

*I didn't notice before, but around 8 minutes, the neighbor starts mowing his lawn... How rude! But that's what that sound is, if you're wondering.

  • You didn't really say anything about the Eastsheen's sticker quality. Do they peel?

  • Nope, they are pretty good.

  • i have a question for you, u said that you can make the color scheme w/e u want... but there are no corners that have both yellow and white, or that have both orange and red. so you have to use the 3x3x3 color scheme, right?

  • thats the idea.

  • @Varomanxp Its ok, i'd recommend and X cube, rly expensive though. but a cheaper one but still good could be a shengshou v2

  • my rubik's 4x4 is the same size and weight as the eastshteen and it turns faster but it locks up when you try to put together 2 moves at once
