Zainab went through torment...But still remained patient
Her loved ones abused
Her heart's deeply bruised
But still remained patient

How would you feel if you lost a... brother that was to you so dear
How would you feel if you had to... go face to face with your worst fear
Imagine you had to watch your...older brother wounded and fight
Then watch your younger brother go...for water and vanish from sight

Sorrows hit one by one..."How has this all begun"
What can one conclude
Her heart's deeply bruised
But still remained patient

How would you feel if you lost your...parents in this reality
Put yourself in Zainab's shoes to...feel the horror and tragedy
Close your eyes to feel her pain and...imagine the camps all flaming
Imagine abdullah the young...and from thirst his mouth is drying

The atmosphere so cruel...They're acting like such fools
They behaved so rude
Her hearts deeply bruised
But still remained patient

Imagine being treated as...dirt and not understanding why
The only solution was to...stay quiet or scream and then sigh
For taking care of the orphans...she was called words so horrible
She went through much oppression and ...was often called despicable

Her character so strong...Avoiding all the wrong
From what has occurred
Her heart's deeply bruised
But still remained patient

Her strength was almost gone until...she saw a shadow standing still
It was coming close and shining...looking so pleasant and smiling
Zainab say's " please leave me alone...Hussein's gone, now Im on my own"
"Oh my daughter i am Ali...step closer and come speak to me"

This was a turning point...which wouldn't disappoint
She felt so confused
Her heart's deeply bruised
But still remained patient

"Father they burned the camps and more...they killed Hussein and hijabs tore
They hid water from the children...they tortured our men and women"
"Oh daughter the lord is with you...so on this true path continue
You may feel weary and tired...but know that your rank has hired"

Allah is on her side...Her faith she'd never hide
They might be amused
Her heart's deeply bruised
But still remained patient
