VERMONT SONGWRITER DOES IT AGAIN WITH SARAH PALIN SONG

" I just couldn't help myself, I had to write a Sarah Palin song" said singer-songwriter Bobby Gosh, whose song and video of "Mama's Votin' For Obama" is garnering thousands of hits on YouTube. Just two weeks from the day Gosh posted the Obama song, he has posted the hilariously satirical song and video, "SARAH !" on YouTube. Some of the biting lines are: She has good looks, she'll ban your books, she'll shoot and dress a moose Roe V. Wade makes her afraid, you gotta reproduce From her house she sees Russia, right across the ridge If you're lookin' to go nowhere fast, she'll help you build the bridge She's a hockey mom, an atomic bomb,
she shoots wolves from the air And evolution's not her solution, it doesn't stand a prayer She's the gorilla from Wasilla, the Annie Oakley of the NRA She's a pitbull with lipstick, and she looks like Tina Fey One thing she hates is Troopergate, it just won't go away She'll drill for oil most anywhere, even in the bay She'll wear a Valentino, or a vest from L.L. Bean And when she talks, she stalls and balks, well, she was a beauty queen


The lyrics of the song are shown on the video, with John McCain's head serving as the bouncing sing-along ball, while Bobby Gosh and The Hockey Moms (Patty Akley Warlick and Susan Rule) sing. In the last verse of the song, they sing: But though this song is for a laugh, I really can't repent What if we wake up one sad day and she's our president ?


At this point, Palin, in her own voice says: "Unfortunately, that is the road that America may find itself on". Gosh, best known for his Top Ten world-wide hit, Dr. Hook's "A Little Bit More", expects the catchy and must see video of the Palin song "to take off like a rocket". He said that Palin 's image supplied him with the most fertile material for a song that he could imagine. "She's a songwriter's dream. I almost feel that my entire career was waiting for this song and this moment," he said.
