  • Jean Paul Bertrand-Demanes, whose back lands on the post never played for France again (11 caps) but he kept playing for Nantes until 1987.

    Lucque's goal is a beauty, one of the best winning goals in the World Cup.

  • France loose with honor in 1978. After, it was the terrible match against Deutschland in 1982.

  • Remember Luque's goal, but I hadn't noticed there was a deflection off a French defender. Very hard fought match.
