A bit earlier footage, around 1992. As I've read, they have such an amount of quality and musical spirit it really can change someones musical taste.............

  • Who wrote this song? . . . anyone know?. I used to play this with an old friend of mine back in the day.

  • @earFront must be a song from Antonio Carlos Jobim but thats not verified

  • I wish all the young guitarists who think Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Jeff Beck and all the other exhibitionists are some sort of zenith of guitar playing could see more of these amazing gypsy guitarists, who don't need all the affects pedals and squirrelly clothes and jack-off poses to get their point across.

  • they do make eric clapton look a little bit ...crap dont they?

  • @earFront

This song is a classical of brazilian Bossa Nova by the great Tom Jobim

(Antonio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim = Rio de Janeiro,1927 — New York,1994). Unfortunately, I think the rhythm section is not in the better way of Bossa Nova style tempo, but Rosenberg Trio is very nice!

    Peace !

  • Yes, sure, gypsy musicians make electric guitars look like toasters...

  • Exactly! well said

All gypsy musicians can make electric guitar players look very intimidated!

    Stocelo we love him man!

  • @ibeep2009: they sure do.

  • These three musicians can compare with Ladi Geisler, Chet Atkins, Django Reinhardt, Manitas De Plata.

  • @signjay Ahh, c'mon man. I love Vai, Satriani, Gilbert and all; and I also really like gypsy jazz/manouche. I think they're all awesome in their own way.

Of course these guys here don't need the "effects pedals and squirrelly clothes and jack-off poses", but what's wrong with having those if what you play is still awesome, evokes emotions and thoughts, and quite frankly, also not really easy to play ?

    It's all great music =)

  • @ocht6030 All good points...
